The Last Supper

Another day and more guests to entertain (I do enjoy it….thankfully). This time it was a visit from my sister and brother-in-law.
After Mass (we slept in and had to rush there) and a quick cup of tea, Mr P and I were back at the kitchen coalface, cooking a Sunday roast. Our guests have enjoyed many family meals in our current house but this will be their last as they’re off to Italy in a couple of weeks and by the time they return, we should be safely ensconced in our new home. Once they left (late afternoon) we enjoyed a well deserved rest. It’s blowing a hoolie outside now. The TV signal is gone and the lights are flickering!
