Tour d’eglise

130 mostly dry kilometres, I tacked my way through the narrow North Devon lanes. There are some tough hills just off the beaten tracks. I took photos of 12 separate churches along the route, some I missed were converted and being dwelled in. I saw plenty of frogspawn (extra1) mainly along the Granite Trail in small naturally occurring pools of still, fresh water. I wish some of the dog owners would be more aware and keep their dogs out of these frog nurseries .
After a toasted tea cake and a pot of tea I was blown home just before dark. I’ve known it windier but there were a couple of hefty gusts.
