What struck my fancy

St Michael's Mount

in West Cornwall, at low tide the causeway is exposed and allows easy access on foot or by an authorised vehicle. Part of the causeway is covered and high tide is in about four hours. Access now is by boat.

We are still experiencing a stiff westerly wind, enough to make holding the camera steady rather difficult. The wind was whipping up spray from the sea thus reducing image clarity.

Later we went on to Lands End and the extra shows the Longships lighthouse amidst some rather unfriendly looking rocks.
