Return

This morning we saw the sun, but when I walked Django I also got strong wind and rain. Indeed, I was surprised not to see a rainbow. Since the ferry service had stopped yesterday afternoon, we wondered whether we'd have to drive round today, but it was fine: the crossing was just a little bumpy. Between Greenock and Port Glasgow, we found an surprisingly good café for lunch and, after dropping off K at the tram on the outskirts of Edinburgh, we were soon home. There I started work on the materials that I'll use in tomorrow's lecture.

It was a good break, despite the weather.
