Board games

The weather was horrendous so we stayed indoors most of the day, apart from dog walks. We played a variety of board games, some were in the house, others we brought with us. 
The fire alarm starting beeping very loudly in the middle of the afternoon. No one else was in the house so SparseRunner phoned Claire and Cal, the owners. The suggested fix didn't work and a neighbour arrived. We left him to it, SparseRunner took Django for an extra walk and Katya and I went to the nearby co-op to get something for our evening meal. When we all came back (filthy in Django's case) the alarms had stopped and the neighbour had identified the cause, a leak in the alarm system upstairs, linked to the one in the flat we were in.
Having had a lovely meal on. Saturday, we stayed in and ate at home.
