The View

We awoke in the caravan to high winds, everywhere shrouded in a thick mist and horizontal rain. No flying today then. There were a few birds around, but they seemed to be flying backwards!!

After a mighty breakfast in the club House we had a very leisurely morning, reading the papers (both of us), talking about flying adventures with others (Mr. T), catching up on blip (me!) and generally faffing about. The weather brightened for about an hour this afternoon and I attempted a bit of a walk in such high winds which nearly blew me off the hill and it was very difficult trying to hold the camera still. This is a little bit of our view, only a few yards from the caravan looking over to the Welsh hills.

The weather closed in again and I drove home in torrential rain showers and felt so sorry for the large parties of young Orienteering groups I passed who were struggling up the steep hill in the hideous weather with heavy backpacks and soggy maps. No smiles to be seen!!!
