I just took photos when Im and I went for a stroll in the drizzle in the middle of the day. This is Canterbury's ring road which keeps the centre of the city pretty quiet, even where it isn't pedestrianised. The footbridge leads from Canterbury East railway station onto the city wall, and in to the city centre via Dane John Gardens.
I'm endlessly amused by the local conspiracy theorists' hysterical responses on discovering that Canterbury is (and has always been) a 15-minute city (or could be described as such); so much outrage about a simple description of human-friendliness, the benefits of which urban planners aspire to learn from and replicate elsewhere...
