Our first day in the snow .

This glorious skyscape was our reward for tramping a new path through the forest in our snow shoes . Day one of our wintry holiday with J and K , it’s good to see them in person and been enfolded into their cosy comfortable home. So familiar and yet so different from our everyday experience.
Despite storm Isha ripping across the UK and Scandinavia our journey to the airport and the two flights went very smoothly .
Thank you for the good wishes for our journey, I was expecting there to be difficulties, especially as I lay awake listening to the roaring in the night .
I shall be catching up with blips and sincerely hope that the storm hasn’t blown troubles to your door .
