Safe haven II

I first spotted the mouse with his nose poking out of the belly of this rabbit ornament we have in the back yard. Oh, how I would've liked to have caught that moment! Anyway, I put some seeds down in the safety of the rabbit's paws and waited. Not long before mouse obliged by sitting exactly where I'd wanted him to. It did mean lying face first in the rather soggy yard, but I reckon it was worth it.
Rest of the day was a remarkably painless shopping trip to Harrogate (which was a good deal sunnier) for a battlefields trip wardrobe for young historian. No, it didn't include army boots.
