Grey Heron

There were 7 Heron today, 6 at the entrance to the park and the male at the clearing. The chick was there along with the little female(pictured). Today it was the chick who came out on top. A guy passing spotted us and came in and asked about the heron and how long I had been feeding them. I told him as much as I knew and he seemed happy. He had spotted me before and had taken some pictures. He felt it was a privilege to be so close to the heron.
The male was at the clearing and got his share.
