Regular Red Kite

I'm seeing red kites over our property quite regularly lately. The light wasn't great but I'm pleased with the way the eye and the beak show up in this shot.

I spotted and photographed a ladybird, so put the macro lens on and went searching for bugs. Someone on X has seen a brimstone butterfly on the wing, which is very early. My search was fruitless.
