Games that Indians play

My Cub Scout has day camp all week. I got to spend the day with him today. The boys were playing Chumash Indian games. Lawn darts made of corn cobs and feathers. Here they threw a hula hoop and tried to throw a spear through it. Surprisingly, no one poked an eye out! He even got to try archery today. Highlight of his week.

I almost bliped the entertainment of the day (as if lawn darts were enough!) of a couple of cowboys showing the boys how they crack a bull whip, shoot guns and rifles at each other and fist fight like in the movies. At least they gave a good talk first - "Don't try this at home, kids!" Well, the kid won out for the blip.
