Gun Turret

I’ve had a lovely day, despite the rain. This was a fun turret for antiaircraft guns in the Second World War - and I loved the irony of the graffiti.

I then did an underground tour, looking at how people tried to cross the wall from east to West Berlin underground. Originally people used the subways, until the stasi closed the stations. Then they tried the sewers, until the stasi welded them shut. Finally they dug tunnels, and we saw some of those.
