What a glorious day of sunshine and vivid blue skies, just as the forecast predicted yesterday.

We packed in a lot today with a HIIT session first, a visit to Doreen, a walk with a packed lunch part way around, by the Medway and adjacent to the Church. Great light I thought.

Back home for a short time before driving to Broadstairs for their Burns Night Ceilidh and supper. Looking back on Blip it seems this is the first we’ve been to since January 2020 having missed the others through Covid, meetings and travel.

Good to be back spending the evening with friends, enjoying the dancing and renewing old acquaintances in the Ceilidh band, the Hot Rats, who we have known for many years. They played at our wedding in 2002 and at Susan’s retirement do and we’ve seen them perform countless times over the years.
