Shopping first. Thought about going to Kendal but decided to stay local.

Home, unpacked and sat down with a mug of tea. Then I forced myself off the sofa, knowing that I should do some garden tidying while it was dry and not too cold. Less than an hour has made a vast improvement though there’s a lot more to do.

In the afternoon a walk along the Under Loughrigg road where I took the photo of the moss and ivy on the wall with the weir behind.

Then to the garden centre where I bought a cute Christmas ornament, a bargain with 75% off in the sale, a few edible treats for myself and peanuts for the birds.
