Melanie Safka

She died this week. I have always loved Melanie's singing, her voice is unique, it has an edge, harsh at times but always beautiful.
During lock down I saw some You Tube films of her singing with Miley Cyrus, wonderful duets and considering Melanie was into her 70's still in fine voice.
The only time I would have seen her live was at the Isle of Wight festival in 1970 but I now have no memory of it at all.
I found this photo on the internet being sold on Ebay.  The posting did not have the photographer's name so I can not credit them for their work. Thank you anyway, its a great shot.
