Kitchen cabinet

I spent over 3 hours at  Wickes this afternoon with my wife and daughter,Jen, finalising the design and appliances for the new kitchen we have decided to install. We have been in our house for 32 years this month and, whilst we did replace the kitchen after moving in, it has certainly been showing its age in recent years. This was after Jen and Brenda spent 3 hours at the store last Saturday kicking the whole thing off and we had Lisa, the designer (who was excellent),  making a home visit on Monday. The photo is of the worktop type we have chosen. I'll spare you the other photos I took - there's only so much interest one can summon up for this subject! So now we shall await a visit from the surveyor and an installation date. It could be in March/April and we can look forward to a fortnight of take-aways and microwaved meals whilst it is all fitted.
