FRIDAY

I started the day with an 8 km walk around the outskirts of the village which took me up into the hills of the Clwydian Range and along a section of the Offa's Dyke path.

A trip over to Rhyl this afternoon and a short 2.5 km walk along the beach and promenade.

A trip to the Scala Cinema in Prestatyn this evening to see One Life starring Anthony Hopkins as Sir Nicholas Winton. A very moving film based on a true story involving the rescue of hundreds of Jewish children at the onset of WW2.
