Rendall Burns Supper

It's 1.16 a.m. and still going strong.  After a day of indolence it was good to be dancing.  CMC had washed my kilt and now l can't do a fling with it.  Someone stood on a cat in the anteroom, so we thought, but then the pipers entered.  There was a good mix of ages.  The committee had set a trap and caught the first pibroch of the season.  This was the debut of the Steven Flett band, once Roddy limbered up he was imperious.  During the break they had to pour some cold water on his accordion.  CMC is so nimble to dance with, especially since she's had new castors fitted.  The top prize of the raffle was a large tupperware box of haggis.

Do folk mind on a 'Touch of Tartan in Tarves?  This got nowhere near it.

Gary Innes is 43.
