Sunrise at Noordermolen

When Herman asked if I wanted to join him for a sunrise shoot this morning, I immediately decided that I was going to take the old Sigma Zoom K2 70-210 lens (with Minolta mount) that my mum gave me recently. I must say I'm almost shocked with how good these images turned out.

I have made shots with my EF Canon 100-400 L series lens for comparison. Overall sharpness is a bit better with the Canon lens, but the Sigma images are very good and I wouldn't be afraid to create huge prints from these. The extra photo with almost the same composition of the main image was made using the Canon lens.

I had a great morning. Thank you Herman for inviting me and for the good company!
