Berry Lovers

The American Robins have arrived! Here in North Central Florida we get to 'enjoy' them only in the winter. Sometime early winter sometimes late, depending on weather in the northern states. Robins love berries of almost any kind and their diet includes insects and earthworms as well. Robins seem to really love fresh water to splash around in. It's quite a sight when a flock of them descend on your bird bath! Our bog is a big favorite. Fun birds, those robins, just be careful about parking your vehicle under a berry producing tree!
