Streaky Sunrise

A beautiful deep red 'streaky' sunrise this morning over Coppett Hill (Nature Reserve), Goodrich (Herefordshire, UK) seen from the front of the house. The reserve is owned by locals who can buy shares in it, which means its beauty can be preserved forever with no building and careful management of nature and the wild deer that roam it.

Early afternoon, after a trip to the local recycling centre in Ross on Wye, Mrs BB and I did a five mile walk of the town trail up to the top of Chase Hill. I spotted an interesting tree and Mrs BB was happy to pose for the extra. It's straight out of camera with input settings to copy old newspaper black and white photo's. I suppose that was our heyday!

I'm currently watching the Newport Country V Manchester United FA Cup game. Man Utd are leading 0-2 as half time approaches. Although Newport are losiing, they're still winners as this link shows. It's many years since I used to watch them play at Somerton Park and get paid at the same time!

* Just before half time Newport scored a wonder goal to make it 1-2 !
