T is for travel

Well actually it is for Tram and Train.   This is Newy Interchange where you can catch a tram to Newy beach or a Train to Sydney and beyond.  A starting point for travel and there are bus links around the side.  It was opened in October 2017 following the closing of the train line into Newcastle station.  As an observation, it has shifted business closer to the interchange and away from the end of town which has become more residential.  Maybe not a bad thing in the end although a lot of people would think differently.  Thanks for hosting Steven.

Not much else to report today.  Maggy and I visited one of the aged care facilities today and I was pleased to see they are now Covid free.  There was nearly a fight over Maggy in the lounge today.  B gets very anxious and K was muscling in patting Maggy not giving B a turn.  I had to stand between them and B was telling K off as I was leaving.   And just to show you that the world is made up of different people and a good thing it is too, a new resident who we met for the first time last visit asked me not to bring Maggy in because she left a doggy smell and the resident was very sensitive.  Gee, she must have a good sense of smell because for a start, Maggy is always washed or cleaned before we visit and normally everyone says how nice she smells.   Still I totally respect her wishes and we will leave her in peace.
