On the fiddle...

The daughter has started learning the fiddle, but has been having major motivational issues when it comes to practice. 

Neither the wife or me play - so what better way to help the daughter by learning how to play myself and we can help each other.

Worth noting that I was kicked out of music class at school due to my ineptitude and resultant lack of interest leading to disruption.  This was due to a teacher who was happy to help those blessed with musical talent, but less inclined to support and encourage those who weren't.

It was acceptable in the 80s.
