The Northlink crossing wasn't too bad (I suppose) - but I was grateful that the promised 'calmer waters off Aberdeen' did appear.  The boat got into Aberdeen a couple of hours later than scheduled which meant I got on the roads at the relatively civilised time of 09:00.

Then the usual sequence of motorway services, Stirling and Annandale Water both featured.  Annandale Water being the more photogenic.

The final stop for today is the hotel at Tebay Services.  The 70-odd miles from Annandale to Tebay was wet. Very Wet.
