Egg citing

Our chickens have stopped laying, I don't think we've had any eggs this year. Which means that for the first time in about 12 years we are buying eggs.

We got some in last weeks Tesco delivery, they are white in clear plastic boxes, it felt like a real throw back to the 1970s. Getting a decent egg shot can be tricky so I thought I'd have a quick go while cooking an omelette for my lunch. There is a trick to make them stand up, 'Robart' a brilliant photographer and ex-blipper explained it to me many years ago. Use salt, get the egg to stand up then blow the salt away (all over the other side of the table).
