Stand By Blip

These are just outside the terrace doors. Which is a good thing since I can't actually go much further.

Things have been going very well for me lately, for which I am very grateful. But. It couldn't last and it didn't. The latest affliction to visit the mocked turned up today. A suspected arthritis-related swelling in my upper spine, or at least that's what I think the nice doctor man said.

I can't turn my head, or rather when I try to it hurts like heck. So does sneezing and I've gone through about 100 tissues with sneezing. Each one a detonation of pain in my back. I can't tell you how much fun it has been. Add to that, the occasional spasm across my upper back, and I've been a real bundle of laughs to be around.

The way that I can stand means that if I pull my chin in, I look like a slightly less wrinkly E.T.

I'm not happy. Not one bit.
