Alien Life Form

Have absolutely no idea what this plant is - but I discoverd it growing amongst ferns and cow parsley - and looks quite alien compared to those.

No ladies playing out this morning - so I'd no one to ask - but the habit of getting up early and walking seems ingrained now - so just had to go on my own.
