Goosander

It was bright and chilly today, too good not to go out. As I'd had the Keepfit earlier I decided a walk would be better than a run and also give me more photo opportunities.
The ponds were busy with birds, the mallards pairing up, moorhens, swans (2 youngsters still there), this solitary goosander and a flock of black-headed gulls (see extra).
After the ponds it was up by the horses and some great tree skylines.
This afternoon some more cross-stitch (I've decided to do some small, LEGO inspired pieces - as per yesterday's blip - for cards) and a bit of messing around on the computer.
