Creaking Door

Spirits of the past
No longer in the present
Now at peace elsewhere.

This morning I was near the site of the abandoned carehomes photographed in the past, so I walked along to take a quick look - and a few images. One building is now converted to single occupancy habitation and the other is destined to be renovated into a 'new' luxury carehome.

Interesting that today I felt nothing for either site. On past visits I have felt quite emotional, with the ghosts of former 'occupants' very present. The ghosts have 'let go' and left these places; I hope they are now at peace.
