The weather today . . .

. . . has been just like this, sunny and bright.  On top of that, just like our willow and most of the trees in view from our house, the past windy weather has left ‘my favourite tree’ somewhat threadbare in the twig department.
 
Biskit sitting today, and this morning I decided on my old 1.74 mile trek around East Street and back, and this tree has featured on that walk for the past ten years.
 
Openreach engineers called today, and I have signed permission for them to dig up our drive and connect the fibre.  Only a short matter of time now (then I’ll possibly disappear in a cloud of smoke . . .).
