Plastered.

The pub in the village has recently undergone some renovations. Part of these renovations has meant that some re plastering has occurred.

The plasterers found these fragments in the wall and gave them to the landlord. He in turn has handed them to the local history group to add to the village museum’s collection of local artefacts.

The original piece of paper is from 1915 and the newspaper cutting is from 1974.
