South by Southwest

This is heathland at Little Haldon this afternoon. The theme for the Wide on Wednesday challenge (hosted by BobsBlips) today is 'The Weather with You' and this morning I wasn't sure there was anything to take a picture of. It was all just bleugh and the soft rain was soaking everything. A little way into the afternoon the sun broke through. I thought there might be a chance of a rainbow but if there was, I missed it. It's been a day of, to quote another Crowded House song title, 'Four Seasons in One Day'. I took several shots in different places but the one I like best is this one with some colour breaking through in the distance.
