We had to settle for fika at the barrier. The road we had planned to walk was closed due to the snowy and slippery winter. 
We met a local who was out with his dogs who warned us not to go any further, it was just too dangerous. For once, we let a barrier stop us. 
Even though we have been able to walk on ice-free streets in the town for a few days, it is full winter in the forests. Well, the fika tasted good anyway.
