Last day of January!

Unhappy to meet forest
school kids on our walk..

I thought we’d have a lovely walk through the woods to the fields by the river. How wrong I was. There were kids running full pelt, whooping and waving arms in the air, through the woods, Leo was worried and (predictably) barked. I took a turn around the edge of the field and lost them for a while, then we popped up by the river and who was there?? The same arm-wavy, shrieking kids. Leo, who was already heightened, barked somewhat excessively. I then started to walk away from them along the river path and guess what?? They followed us :-/
At that point every person or other dog we passed got both barrels of Leo’s concern. Not the most relaxing walk.
The photo was just before we met the children for the second time and there was momentary calm!
Ben had a pretty good day, he enjoyed playing football at a local facility and then the carers took him out on his own after school!! Finally!! He was pretty calm and has had a nice time and importantly the carers didn’t look too freaked out when they returned!
Off to play packing with him now.
