This feels like about the only Scottish transport option I didn't try today... ;-)

Walk, train, walk, train, bus, walk... and then in reverse, with a little cancelled train in there for good measure.

Some safety works meant a little disruption and while it all worked out in the end, it was a bit tiring. I almost needed a lift to the platform in Central station by the end!
