Art Day

Today was the day for my art class, but feeling at a bit of a loose end I decided to start early and practise the chalk pencil and pastel technique from a few weeks ago. I drew a little robin which I photographed last week when he came to see what I was doing.

The art class itself was using oil pastels to draw marbles. Another fairly messy technique, but strangely satisfying, though it probably won’t be my favourite medium.

I finished the robin later, took photos and created a collage of the two images for today’s blip.
