Sudden appearance

Today has been one of those days that involved hanging about for people to carry out repairs which strictly limited what I could see to blip. I had decided on some rather fine blue flowers in a neighbour's garden when this fellow presented himself. He came right down to the house exploring the newly cut grass and lingered for a few minutes in front of the kitchen window.

Suspending salad making I whipped out my trusty iPad and took a few snaps even though it's not an ideal instrument for such a setting. Anyway I played around with it and hope that I have enhanced enough to make visitors realise it's not simply an empty garden.
