Disappearing Act

I read something in the paper this past week about phone boxes disappearing, with so many people using mobile phones instead.

It seems some villages are buying their phone boxes for a nominal sum and turning them into mini libraries or notice boards or suchlike.

Well, it got me thinking and I realised that I wasn't even sure if our village phone box was actually still there. How sad is that?

Well, I'm delighted to report that it is still there and working!
