Hmmm, not sure about this

Isn't it interesting how important vision is to food?
I was at a very interesting business networking event tonight, organised by Thrive. It brought a mix of people together to discuss HR, of vital importance to small businesses but often neglected.

It was at the trendy Citizen M boutique hotel, and wine and a few canapés were on offer. These look like someone dropped some leftover satay sticks in some Bailey's Irish liqueur. I tried one (well I did eat some barnacles in Portugal recently) and it was actually a very thin peanut sauce, but very few people opted to try one. I can't say I'd recommend them. Hard to overcome the expectation of an unsavoury combination :(
