Abstract Thursday - Tree Trunk

I am particularly fond of this gnarled old tree trunk in Tyninghame Woods so I started to play about with in photoshop. Having boosted the contract and colour saturation I used the Find Edges Filter which usually accents the shapes of images but I was also delighted with this colour transformation as created a rather spooky atmosphere in the woods.
