Victory

The Победа watch. As named and ordered into production by Stalin himself. 

I am quite pleased with the Christmas present I found for him on eBay. 

A Russian watch from the late 1940s / early 1950s that once was the prized possession of a soviet worker is fitting for the lad whose only acquaintance with the working class is from the tons of books he's read on the topic and whose recent purchase of a pair of 1920s design wool trousers (hand loomed in Scotland) would be the equivalent of at least one year's salary of said soviet worker. 


I love the total absence of a sense of contradiction in the youth.
