On Some Days

Nobody Home . . . Pink Floyd

The temperatures have warmed up and the cicadas are emerging.  They aren't very loud at my place but on my Thursday walk we heard a chorus of cicadas.  Perhaps they are the loudest insect in the world.  During the night a nymph must have crawled up the slender stem of this tree to moult leaving the shell behind.
A day of assembling various things for the annual camping trip to Totaranui.
