Self-Service Boozery

I’ve been reading an article about automation, driverless cars the most recent manifestation, and its effect on communities and the way people engage with each other. Online shopping, self-service checkouts, self-service check-ins, tap on/off transport, meal delivery services.

Buddy’s hasn’t done away entirely with human interaction. As I peered at the taps - beers, cocktails, wines in taster and full serves - the young guy in the extra came over and explained how you need to get a card, load money on it, and then serve yourself.
