Prestatyn before parkrun

SATURDAY

The day started bright and I headed out to Prestatyn for the parkrun. The car thermometer said it was a balmy 12ºC but, in my shorts on the exposed promenade, it felt more like sub-zero in the strong north westerly wind.

The headwind made the beginning and end sections of the run difficult, but the middle section with the wind behind was literally a breeze. I finished the run in 29:28 which is about average for me these days.

A quick stop off at M&S and the Builder's Merchants on the way home.
