Good wind

We stopped off at an East Lothian beach on our way back from the gallery.   It was very windy.  The bay was full of wind surfers going back and forward and sometimes up.  But they wer too far away to catch on my iphone nad I didn't have the right shoes to get any closer.  These two were off but it did look as if the wind which they came to use might prevent them getting there.
I still wonder why folk do these things.  I said to one of them - Is this sensible?'.  they replied that of course it wasn't and that was the point.
