In the green

P came up to visit today. We did have a weekend break pencilled in but with the weekend engineering works , the strikes and the overtime ban she decided to do a day trip.
After showing round the house, we had a wander around town. At the top of the High street, there’s a little shop that sells pet supplies and seeds etc. He was selling Snowdrops in the green, always the best way to ensure flowers next year. He was able to tell me exactly where they came from.
