Happy Moments

Looking for….

A day of family togetherness.

A relaxed first part of the day sitting chatting and catching up on each other’s news. Once lunch was out the way we decided to go for a walk on the beach and along the prom. It is really busy down in the town at weekends even in winter.

As we were walking out onto the pier, we commented on the people, dogs, surfers and general typical seaside amusements, arcades, coffee shops, ice cream huts and how much tourism affects the town and how it would be magnified many times over come the summer.

I don’t think we will be down on the beach too much at weekends, it’s quite different during the week, calmer and more sedate.

The picture of me and Greg looks like we were deep in conversation but actually I’d just told him that people collect coloured glass from the beach and we were heads down looking for some!

Thankfully not quite as windy either so although it was bracing, it was very enjoyable.

I look a bit windswept, but love the picture of the three of us, probably the first selfie I’ve ever liked!!

I’d done chicken tikka in the slow cooker, so by the time we got home and chatted some more it was all smelling rather good and we had a lovely family meal with lots of laughs and stories.
