Breda Mural 21 -- 'Wings of Paradise'

A long detour to shoot this, situated at the Mols Parking area just outside the old city centre, before supermarket errands.  This is only half of it.  The other half was obstructed by parked cars.  Maybe in the summer, if I am lucky to pass by and it's empty, I might shoot the other half.  It was inspired by the tropical rainforests in Indonesia, which have been dwindling in the last half century due to palm oil plantations.  The deforestation has become a serious threat for the famous bird of paradise.

An otherwise grey day.  Thankful for time together with AW.  Since the deaths of our friends, we have become only too aware of how short life is and how death never finds us prepared.
