Watching a fence, or the world

Our cat enjoys his freedoms. We usually don't know where he goes off to on his 1,2 3,4 or 24 hour adventures. 
However, on this day we could see him, from the house just at this fenceline. Watching the world, or the leaves. He stuck at this for a while before getting bored and continuing on his "security" sweep of the local area. Despathing any local wildlife as he went.
